VGP Park San Fernando de Henares is situated 15 km northeast of Madrid. The city of San Fernando is located between the Corredor de Henares, Spain’s main logistic road (running between Madrid and Barcelona), and the M50 ring road, the first logistics belt around Madrid, which is experiencing significant growth. The park offers 115,000 m2 of industrial and logistics premises and includes units from as small as 1,000 m2 up to tailor-made solutions for large logistics operations.
The first two buildings have been completed, and the park is expected to be fully delivered by the end of the first half of 2020. Companies that have chosen VGP Park San Fernando include DSV, Thyssenkrupp and Rhenus Logistics, and located close to the park are Amazon, TNT and XPO Logistics.
For VGP Spain, 2018 has been marked by an important geographical deployment. Following the 2016 purchases of land in Barcelona (Lliçà d'Amunt) and Madrid (San Fernando de Henares), VGP has doubled its size in Spain and increased its capacity to accompany its clients throughout the Spanish territory in three new strategic locations.
In Madrid, VGP has reinforced its presence with the purchase of a strategic plot of land in Fuenlabrada, which will have more than 44,000 m2 suitable for industrial and logistical use. VGP will also develop a new park in the Valencian municipality of Cheste, with two buildings totalling around 40.000 m2. And PlaZa, Zaragoza, has been chosen to locate a park that will have more than 70,000 m2 built.
